SellerLens has no server, no account, no tracking, and no analytics. Everything runs locally in your browser.
What SellerLens accesses
SellerLens reads the content of the Etsy page you are currently viewing, and only on
etsy.com. On a listing page it reads the visible price, title, description, photos,
and tags; on a shop page it reads the visible listing count and prices. This access is
read-only — SellerLens never changes, submits, clicks, or automates anything on Etsy.
What SellerLens stores
The following is saved locally in your browser (via chrome.storage.local), on your device only:
Your fee table and calculator defaults (the numbers you enter in Settings).
The most recent shop snapshot (shop name, visible listing count, price statistics, and a timestamp),
so the popup can display it and export a CSV.
What SellerLens does NOT do
It does not send any data to any server. There is no backend, no analytics, no telemetry, no tracking pixels.
It does not collect personal information, account credentials, or buyer data.
It does not automate any Etsy action (no auto-listing, relisting, offers, follows, or messaging).
It does not scrape other sellers at scale or run in the background.
It does not sell or share any data with third parties.
Permissions we request, and why
storage — to save your settings and last snapshot locally on your device.
Access to https://www.etsy.com/* — so the extension can read the Etsy page you are viewing.
Your control
Everything stored is on your device. Removing the extension removes its stored settings and snapshot.
You can reset all settings to defaults from the Settings page at any time.
